Gathering Under the Word

In the beginning of Nehemiah’s memoirs, we see God’s kindness in raising up the right leaders for the task of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. This week, we will see how the hearts of His people would be stirred through gathering to hear the word of God, confess sin, and commit to obedience as an expression of a sincere relationship. As we gather back together, we get a picture of God’s primary way of working in and through His people: the preaching of God’s Word as the people of God gather to worship.
