The Arrival

Having seen the beginning of Solomon’s reign and his frame of mind later in life, we will now jump back to the high point of Solomon’s reign: the construction of the Lord’s temple. 1 Kings 6:12-13, God vowed to fulfill His promise to David and to live among the Israelites and not abandon them. The completion of the temple brought that promise to fruition. What we will see this week is that God making His home among His people is not just a past tense event for those in Christ; It is a present tense reality.
